Quiksilver Pro France Back ON at La Graviere
Clean peaks on offer at La Graviere this morning for the Quiksilver Pro France.
LA GRAVIERE, Hossegor/France (Tuesday, October 11, 2011) – Clean three-to-four foot (1 metre) lefts and rights are on offer this morning at La Graviere, prompting Quiksilver Pro France organizers to call competition back on with Round 4 commencing at 8:15am.
Stop No. 8 of 11 on the 2011 ASP World Title season, the Quiksilver Pro France looks to get through Rounds 4 and 5 as well as the Quarterfinals this morning before the high tide fills in.
“Conditions look very contestable this morning and we’ll be commencing with men’s competition at 8:15am,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge, said. “We’re in a race against the high tide today so we’re hoping to complete 12 heats of competition before it becomes unmanageable. That said, we’ll monitor the conditions throughout the morning and adjust the schedule accordingly.”
Up first this morning will be Taylor Knox (USA), 40, Michel Bourez (PYF), 25, and Jeremy Flores (FRA), 23, in Heat 1 of Round 4.
