Quiksilver Pro France Round 2 Resumes in Thumping Conditions at La Graviere

LA GRAVIERE, Hossegor/France (Thursday, October 6, 2011) – The Quiksilver Pro France, Event No. 8 of 11 on the 2011 ASP World Title season, will recommence this morning with the remaining Round 2 heats at 8:20am.
“We still have solid four-to-six foot (1.5 – 2 metre) waves on offer this morning and we’ll start competition at 8:20am,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge, said. “We’re anticipating the wind to swing unfavorably by midday so we hope to complete the remaining nine heats of Round 2, but we’ll be monitoring conditions closely.”
Up first this morning will be Josh Kerr (AUS), 27, against Tiago Pires (PRT), 31, in Heat 4 of Round 2.
