Men’s Quarterfinals in the Water at Oakley ASP World Pro Junior
KERAMAS, Bali/Indonesia (Friday, October 8 2010) – The surf action at the Oakley ASP World Pro Junior, event no.1 on the ASP World Junior Tour (WJT), continues to roll on in Bali today, with the men’s quarter-finals hitting the water at 6am.
Light winds, 3-4ft waves and an incoming tide will again provide the world’s best junior surfers with the ideal arena for progressive surfing.
Contest Director, Beau Emerton, said there might be a possible finish in the men’s division.
“We’ll proceed with the quarters and assess conditions near the completion of the round,” he said.
“This will be followed by men’s or women’s action. Either way it’s going to be another great day of surfing.”
Up first was Nat Young (USA), taking on Jack Freestone (AUS) in the opening quarterfinal.
