Quiksilver Pro France Round 2 ON in Clean Conditions at Culs Nus Beach
      



The waves are pumping once again for Round 2 of the Quiksilver Pro France.CULS NUS BEACH, Hossegor/France (Monday, September 27, 2010) – Clean three-to-four foot (1.5 metre) waves are pulsing through Culs Nus Beach this morning, prompting Quiksilver Pro France event organizers to call Round 2 on at 9am.

Event No. 7 of 10 on the 2010 ASP World Tour, the Quiksilver Pro France enjoyed a dramatic Round 1 in yesterday’s challenging conditions, and today promises more exciting action as the world’s best surfers do battle in the idyllic French beachbreaks.

“We’ve waited for the tide to drop this morning and there are plenty of waves coming through so we’ll commence Round 2 at 9am,” Richie Porta, ASP International Head Judge, said. “We expect to complete Round 2 today, but will monitor tide conditions should we need to go on hold at any point.”

Up first this morning will be former nine-time ASP World Champion and current ASP World No. 1, Kelly Slater (USA), 38, up against Maxime Huscenot (FRA), 18, in the opening heat of Round 2.
