Round 2 of Hurley Pro at Trestles is ON
Miguel Pupo (BRA), 21, will take on fellow goofy-footer Fred Patacchia (HAW), 31, in Heat 10 Round 2 of the Hurley Pro at Trestles.
LOWER TRESTLES, San Clemente, CA (Monday, September 16, 2013 ) - Round 2 of the Hurley Pro at Trestles is ON this morning beginning at 8:30am local time in clean two-to-four foot (1 metre) waves at Lowers.
Stop No. 7 of 10 on the 2013 ASP World Championship Tour (WCT), the Hurley Pro at Trestles kicked off competition yesterday with the world’s best surfers tearing in to the high performance lefts and rights of Lowers, completing Round 1 and the first four heats of Round 2.
“We’ve got clean surf on offer this morning and will continue with Round 2 today,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge said. “We’ll begin at 8:30 and plan on completing Round 2. We are not expecting to run Round 3 today.”
Up first this morning will be Adrian Buchan (AUS), 31, vs. Patrick Gudauskas (USA), 27, in Heat 5 Round 2 of the Hurley Pro at Trestles. The Hurley Pro at Trestles holds a waiting period from September 15 – 21, 2013 and is webcast LIVE via www.thehurleypro.com
