CLOUDBREAK, Tavarua/Fiji (Saturday, June 8, 2013) – The Volcom Fiji Pro is currently on hold until 9am local time, with event officials monitoring four-to-six foot (1.5-2 metre) waves at Cloudbreak.
Stop No. 4 of 10 on the ASP World Championship Tour (WCT), the Volcom Fiji Pro has enjoyed flawless conditions at both Cloudbreak and Restaurants and the current forecast is showing signs of more excellent surf to come.
“We’ve relocated to Cloudbreak this morning and are going to watch the conditions for awhile,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge said. “We’ll make the next official call at 9am.”
Up first will be Jeremy Flores (FRA), 25, against Miguel Pupo (BRA), 21, in Heat 4 Round 3 when Volcom Fiji Pro competition resumes.
