Lay-Day Called at the SWATCH Girls Pro China 2012WANNING, Hainan Island/China (Friday, November 23, 2012) – There will be no surfing at the SWATCH Girls Pro China 2012 hosted by Wanning today as the surf is near flat. After running long days yesterday and the day before there are only 12 surfers remaining in contention for the ASP Women’s World Longboard Title.
“There’s no surf today and so far the forecasts have been spot on,” Contest Director Dane Jordan said. “The good news is there’s a pulse in swell predicted for Sunday, the last day in the event window, so we’re expecting a great finish to the event. We will come back at the same time tomorrow and access conditions and make a call.”
