Round 1 of Women’s Arnette ASP World Junior pres. by Quiksilver is ON




ARPOADOR, Rio de Janeiro/Brazil (Wednesday, October 26, 2011) – The opening round of the Arnette ASP World Pro Junior presented by Quiksilver is ON this morning in one-to-three foot (.5 metre) waves at Arpoador.

Stop No. 2 of 3 on the 2011 ASP World Junior Tour, the Arnette ASP World Junior has seen the completion of Rounds 1 and 2 of men’s competition over the past two days and today’s proceedings are scheduled to see the completion of women’s Round 1 with Round 2 on standby.

Up first this morning will be Faye Zoetmulder (ZAF), Leila Hurst (HAW), Carol Fernandez (BRA) in Heat 1.

The Arnette World Junior presented by Quiksilver holds a waiting period from October 24 through November 2, 2011 and is webcast LIVE via http://www.brasilopenofsurfing.com.br
