Final Day Quiksilver Pro France ON at La Graviere
Julian Wilson (AUS), 22, will face Taj Burrow (AUS), 33, in the Quarterfinals of the Quiksilver Pro France.
LA GRAVIERE, Hossegor/France (Wednesday, October 12, 2011) – The final day of the Quiksilver Pro France, Event No. 8 of 11 on the 2011 ASP World Title season, has been called on this morning, with the Quarterfinals commencing in clean three-to-four foot (1 metre) waves at La Graviere at 10:15am.
“The fog has cleared and we have good waves on offer for the final day of competition,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge, said. “We’ll be starting with the Quarterfinals at approximately 10:15am with plans to run straight through. Good luck to all our competitors today.”
When competition resumes, up first will be Michel Bourez (PYF), 25, and Taylor Knox (USA), 40, in Quarterfinal 1.
