Hurley Pro at Trestles Round 2 ON, Round 3 on Standby
Miguel Pupo will face off against fellow countrymen Heitor Alves in Round 2 of the Hurley Pro at Trestles.
LOWER TRESTLES, California / USA (Monday, September 19, 2011) – Round 2 of the Hurley Pro at Trestles is ON this morning in clean two-to-four foot (1 metre) waves at the iconic California Pointbreak of Lower Trestles.
Stop No. 7 of 11 on the ASP World Title Series, the Hurley Pro at Trestles saw the world’s best surfers put in some impressive performances despite smaller conditions in Round 1 and with a new swell showing signs of life, there should be no shortage of action in Round 2 today.
“We’re going to capitalize on the swell on offer this morning and continue with Round 2 starting at 8:30,” Richie Porta, ASP International Head Judge said. “Round 3 is on standby and we’ll potentially push on later this afternoon.”
