Billabong Pro Jeffreys Bay Final Day ON, Champion to be Crowned This Morning


Adrian Buchan (AUS), 28, will face Julian Wilson (AUS), 22, in Quarterfinal 2 of the Billabong Pro Jeffreys Bay.

JEFFREYS BAY, South Africa (Sunday, July 24, 2011) ? The final day of the Billabong Pro Jeffreys Bay, Event No. 4 of 11 on the 2011 ASP World Title season, has been called ON this morning with the Quarterfinals commencing at 7:30am.

?While conditions aren?t ideal today, there?s certainly plenty of swell and we?ll get underway at 7:30am,? Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge, said. ?Several days ago, the surfers opted for today?s potentially messy and consistent conditions over clean and inconsistent and we?re here today. That said, there?s still some punchy surf out there and we?ll watch the world?s best surfers do their thing. Good luck to everyone today.?

Up first this morning will be Damien Hobgood (USA), 32, against Jordy Smith (ZAF), 23, in Quarterfinal 1.
