Is Dane ready for the Billabong Pro Jefffreys Bay?

LOWER TRESTLES, California/USA (Wednesday, June 29, 2011) – The Pacific Ocean was lit up this past week with a barrage of swells out of the Southern Hemisphere, and with several of the ASP Top 34 posting up in Southern California for the mid-season break, it was only a matter of time before the elements combined to bring us a Lowers mega session.

Last Sunday and Monday, the likes of reigning 10-time ASP World Champion Kelly Slater (USA), 39, Patrick Gudauskas (USA), 25, Freddy Patacchia (HAW), 29, Taj Burrow (AUS), 33, a freshly-rehabilitated Dane Reynolds (USA), 25, amongst others tore apart a consistent fetch of swell at the iconic Lower Trestles. Providing excellent warm up for September’s Hurley Pro at Trestles as well as the upcoming Billabong Pro Jeffreys Bay, these ASP Top 34 members fired the first shots across the bow and Surfline was there to capture all the hi-fi ripping.
