GUINCHO, Cascais/Portugal (Saturday, October 5, 2013) – The final day of the EDP Cascais Girls Pro presented by Billabong has been called on this morning with the Quarterfinals commencing at 9:30am in clean two-to-three foot (1 metre) waves at Guincho.
The eighth and final stop on the 2013 ASP Women’s World Championship Tour, the EDP Cascais Girls Pro will decide this year’s ASP Women’s World Champion as well as the elite ASP Top 17 for 2014.
“We still have fun waves on tap this morning at Guincho and have called the final day of competition on at 9am,” Dave Shipley, ASP Women’s Head Judge, said. “We’re looking forward to a great last day of the season. Good luck to all our remaining competitors.”
Up first this morning will be Sage Erickson (USA), 22, will taking on compatriot Courtney Conlogue (USA), 21, in the opening Quarterfinal.
