Volcom Fiji Pro On Hold Until 2pm

CLOUDBREAK, Tavarua/Fiji (Monday, June 10, 2013) – Round 3 of the Volcom Fiji Pro is currently on hold at Cloudbreak with event officials making the next official call at 2pm.
Stop No. 4 of 10 on the ASP World Championship Tour (WCT), the Volcom Fiji Pro has seen three consecutive lay days due to stormy winds and smaller surf and has gone on hold throughout the morning in hopes of improved conditions brought on by a change in tide.
“We’ve spent the morning on hold to wait for the tide swing and are still waiting for more consistent conditions to start competition again,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge said. “Next call’s scheduled for 2pm with heats 4-8 on standby.”
Up first will be Jeremy Flores (FRA), 25, against Miguel Pupo (BRA), 21, in Heat 4 Round 3 of the Volcom Fiji Pro.
