Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast Round 3 Called ON at Snapper Rocks, Round 4 on Standby
Dusty Payne (HAW), 24, will take on 11-time ASP World Champion Kelly Slater (USA), 41, in Round 3 of the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast when competition resumes.
SNAPPER ROCKS, Queensland/Australia (Monday, March 11, 2013) -The Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast presented by Land Rover, Event No. 1 of 10 on the 2013 ASP World Championship Tour (WCT), has been called ON this morning, with the remainder of Round 3 commencing at 10:30am at Snapper Rocks.
“Conditions have improved as the tide is dropping and we’ve called competition back on at 10:30am,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge, said. “We anticipate completing Round 3 and have placed Round 4 on standby for a possible start today. Good luck to all our competitors.”
Up first this morning will be Dusty Payne (HAW), 24, versus 11-time ASP World Champion Kelly Slater (USA), 41, in Heat 7 of Round 3.
