Coco Ho (HAW), 20, will take on reigning ASP Women’s World Champion Carissa Moore (HAW), 19, in Quarterfinal 3 of the Rip Curl Women’s Pro Bells Beach presented by Ford Fiesta.
BELLS BEACH, Victoria/Australia (Saturday, April 7, 2012) – The final day of the Rip Curl Women’s Pro Bells Beach presented by Ford Fiesta has been called on this morning, with the Quarterfinals commencing at 7:15am.
Event No. 2 of 7 on the 2012 ASP Women’s World Championship Tour, the Rip Curl Women’s Pro Bells Beach has bore witness to sensational surfing throughout the week and will culminate today in solid four-to-five foot (1.5 metre) waves at Bells Beach.
“Waves are still pumping through at Bells Beach this morning and we’ve called the final day of the women’s event on at 7:15am,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge, said. “We’re expecting to run straight through this morning so good luck to all our remaining competitors.”
Up first this morning will be Tyler Wright (AUS), 18, against Sarah Mason (NZL), 16, in the opening Quarterfinal.
