CULS NUS BEACH, Hossegor/France (Saturday, October 2, 2010) – The final day of the Quiksilver Pro France has been called ON today, with the Quarterfinals commencing at 8am in four-to-six foot (2 metre) waves at Culs Nus Beach.
The seventh stop on the 2010 ASP World Tour, the Quiksilver Pro France is a crucial point in the year regarding the ASP World Title Race and today will be see the frontrunner battle from Kelly Slater (USA), 38, Mick Fanning (AUS), 29, and Jordy Smith (ZAF), 21, reach a fever pitch.
“We have solid surf on offer again this morning and will commence competition at 8:30am,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge, said. “We will monitor conditions closely, but plan on running straight through to the Finals around midday.”
