WANNING, Hainan Island, China (Friday, November 29, 2013): Strong offshore winds and consistent 1.25m (3 to 4 feet) surf sets the scene for an intense final days action in China at the Riyue Bay ASP World Longboard Championships hosted by Wanning.


“We had an amazing day yesterday and the swell’s remaining consistent with strong winds so it’s all go for the Quarter Finals through to Final and we will crown the 2013 ASP  World Longboard Champion around midday here in China – Best of luck to the final 8 surfers and may the best surfer win” said Contest Director Dane Jordan.


The first Quarter Final sees a much anticipated clash between Nelson III Ahina and Australia’s Harley Ingleby.

Quarter Final 1: Nelson III Ahina (HAW) V Harley Ingleby (AUS)

Quarter Final 2: Rodrigo Sphaier (BRA) V Duane Desoto (HAW)

Quarter Final 3: Timothee Creignou (FRA) V Piccolo Clemente (PERU)

Quarter Final 4: Kai Sallas (HAW) V Antoine Delpero (FRA)
