Andy Irons (1978 – 2010)
SANTA CRUZ, California/USA (Friday, November 2, 2012) – Today marks the two-year anniversary of the passing of our friend, brother and champion, Andy Irons. It is a sad day for everyone in the surfing world, but also a day in which we choose to remember him as he was: a fiercely loyal friend, a man of passion, the people’s champion, a brother, a husband, a soon-to-be father, one of the most inspiring, stylish, brave and charismatic individuals to ever step foot on a surfboard. We encourage you to take a moment today to reflect on who Andy was and smile. As always, our thoughts are with the Irons family. We miss you Andy.
