Kai Otton (AUS), 32, will face compatriot Adam Melling (AUS), 27, in Round 2 of the Rip Curl Pro Portugal this afternoon.
SUPERTUBOS, Peniche/Portugal (Sunday, October 14, 2012) – The Rip Curl Pro Portugal, Event No. 8 of 10 on the 2012 ASP World Championship Tour, has been called back on this afternoon with the remaining four heats of Round 2 commencing at 4:45pm at Supertubos.
“Unexpected onshore wind prevented us from running most of the day but has now swung offshore,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge, said. “We’ll use the last two hours of daylight to complete the four remaining heats of Round 2. Good luck to all our competitors this afternoon.”
Up first this afternoon will be Brett Simpson (USA), 27, against Matt Wilkinson (AUS), 24, in Heat 9 of Round 2 of the Rip Curl Pro Portugal.
