ARPOADOR, Rio de Janeiro / Brasil (Saturday, July 30, 2011) ? The SuperSurf ASP World Masters Championships is on once again this morning in slowly-building swell at Rio de Janeiro?s lefthand pointbreak of Arpoador.

Today?s proceedings are expected to see the biggest day of competition so far to decide the Semifinalists in both the Masters and Grand Masters divisions.

?The swell is supposed to get a little bit bigger, and for sure we can see some increase,? Roberto Perdigao, SuperSurf ASP World Masters Contest Director said. ?It?s still very, very small for this kind of competition, but we have to move on. We?re going to finish the last heat of Round number 3 of Masters, heats 6.Then Round 4 of Masters, then Grand Masters Round 3, and try to get into the Quarterfinals.?

Kicking off the day?s SuperSurf ASP World Masters will be Guilherme Herdy (BRA), Luke Egan (AUS), Flavio Padaratz (BRA), and Jake Paterson (AUS) 11.25
