HUNTINGTON BEACH, California (Saturday, January 15, 2011) – Carissa Moore (HAW), 18, is one of the most prodigious figures in women’s surfing history. After impressing the world with wildcard appearances in select ASP Women’s World Tour events, the Oahu native made her presence known on her rookie year amongst the Top 17, snagging two event wins to finish the year at ASP Women’s World No. 3. Now that Moore has completed her education and gotten her feet wet around the globe, the Hawaiian talent is hungry to hunt down her first ASP Women’s World Title.
